The multitude of books is making us ignorant
Voltaire
“If books are making us ignorant, what does this say about the internet!?”
I love the game because it’s so simple, yet it can be so complex. There’s a lot of layers to it, but they aren’t hard to peel back.
The Great Ernie Harwell
I’m still absolutely shocked about how music from approximately 40 years ago is much better than most anything that I hear on the radio nowadays.
Take for example The Beatles - Abbey Road
I just recently picked up the stereo remastered version of this album and it absolutely rocks my world the genius and creativity that went into creating this masterpiece.
Now I’m a huge technology supporter but when it comes to music, the more analog an artist can be is really a true expression of their brilliance.
Over produced crap floods today’s markets and I urge everyone to take a step back and listen to some of the classics and appreciate them for what they are, true genius.
While touting the classics lets bring up the fact of how good Johnny Cash’s latest album is. Johnny Cash - Ain’t No Grave
Johnny Cash is one of the founding fathers of American folk music in my opinion. His latest album that was released posthumously by Rick Rueben is not only haunting album but it is a classic representation of what Johnny Cash music is.
You can tell that Reuben has the utmost respect for Johnny Cash and in his final album.
I highly recommend if you like folk music that you pick this album up and listen to it on repeat quite a few times.
